About EUReady

EUReady is a compliance tool for Shopify stores that sell to customers in the European Union. It scans every product in a store, shows exactly which legally required information is missing (manufacturer details, EU responsible person, safety warnings), and fills the gaps across the catalog. Around the app, we maintain one of the largest free libraries of practical EU compliance guides for online sellers, plus free tools like the GPSR applicability quiz and the warning text generator.

Who is behind EUReady?

EUReady is built by Karim El Achaq, its founder, based in France (LinkedIn). Being located inside the EU matters for this work: the regulations we write about apply where we live, and we track them at the source, in the official journals and registries, not through second-hand summaries.

Our editorial standards

• Primary sources only for legal facts. Every date and obligation in our guides is sourced from EUR-Lex, Council or Commission publications, or official national registries (ZSVR, ADEME). We link the sources at the bottom of each guide and we do not source legal claims from blog posts.
• Dated and maintained. Every guide shows its last update date. Pages covering moving targets (like the EU compliance deadlines calendar) carry a public change log.
• Plain language. The guides are written for store owners, not lawyers. Where the law is genuinely ambiguous, we say so instead of pretending certainty.
• Honest boundaries. EUReady is a software tool, and this site is general information, not legal advice. Some obligations (like appointing an EU responsible person or registering with LUCID) cannot be done by any app; our guides say so explicitly.
